Maximizing Your Next Quarter With a 90 Day Plan

You know what? You’ll probably hate me for saying this, but (as of writing this) it’s only 6 months until Christmas day. (Don’t hit me.)

It’s nearly July. We’re wrapping up 2nd quarter and heading into 3rd. Then before you know it, we’ll be heading into the final quarter of the year.

Where is the time going?! I have no answer for that.

What have you been doing with your time and what are you going to do with it? Do you even know? To be honest, many don’t know – and it shows.

It reflects in their business.

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, as a business coach, life coach, wellness coach, or consultant, you need to plan your business activities and your marketing by the quarter, every 90 days for the next 90 days – also known as a 90 Day Plan.

Not many people can successfully “wing” their business and see their profits increase.

Your business profits reflect your activities of the past 60-90 days. If you’re not creating a plan and sticking to it, and you’re just throwing spaghetti against the wall or doing things as you feel like it, with no rhyme or reason, no connectivity, no thought of your prospects and what they’re hungry for, you’re winging it.

Now is the time to reflect on your 2nd quarter, as painful as that might be for some of you. But it’s important. Avoidance won’t help, and you can’t change or improve on what you don’t recognize.

  • Was it successful?
  • Did you meet your business goals (financial and other)?
  • Did your revenue increase or decrease?
  • Did you grow your email list?
  • Did you get that project completed that’s been holding you back?
  • Did you have the impact on the world or in your industry that you wanted to have?
  • If your calendar is full and you have a tendency to be overwhelmed, did you make enough time for you?

Now is the time to plan out your next 90 days (your 3rd quarter) and build momentum into fall.
